Demand Planning which is the process of forecasting demand for a product is a critical business planning function of our Supply Chain Management. Our dynamic and accurate forecast inspire confident busines plans and enables our teams to work together and meeting our future demand targets. This helps us in improved supplier relations & purchasing terms, better capacity utilization & allocation of resources, optimization of inventory levels, increase in customer service levels, better product lifecycle management etc., overall enhancing the customer service levels.
Our skilfully developed 3P program which we refer to as layout to manufacturability, we help to develop and validate process mapping for manufacturing a product from beginning to end. This flawless process helps the client to maintain the deadline as per his commitment. Our 3P staff is trained well to work with our clients to formulate new designs and redesign process as and when required. Our process helps our clients to develop product and process designs that require the least amount of time, material, and capital to create an end product.
We have adopted a systematic approach to sourcing, storing & selling inventory – both unfinished & finished products thus maintaining right stock, at the right levels, in the right place, in the right cost. From a product perspective our inventory management is capable to understand what stock we have on hand, where and which warehouse it is in and how it is moving in and how it is moved out.
Our Sales & Order Management System has the capability of bridging the gap between the supply chain, marketing strategies and customer experience in the digital economy. The optimization of our order management system with designed discipline provides value to both the business and customer and the life cycle of the order is maintained by ensuring the ordered goods or services arrive seamlessly..
Our Distribution Network is designed to give the greatest benefit to our customers by focusing on the (i) Response Time – time between when a customer places order and received delivery. (ii) Product Variety - number of different products / configurations that a customer desires from the distribution network. (iii) Product Availability – probability of having a product in stock when a customer order comes. (iv) Customer Experience – includes the ease with which the customer can place and receive order. (v) Order Visibility – ability of the customer to track their order from placement to delivery. (vi) Returnability – the ease at which a customer can return unsatisfactory merchandise and ability of the network to handle such returns.
Our IT enabled Warehouse Management System (WMS), a robust application is the keystone of our warehousing & distribution operation which supports almost every function of our warehousing facility. Our WMS is collaborated with our TMS which creates a holistic approach that extends beyond our walls and racks and providers the highest accuracy level for our delivery targets. Moreover, it alerts our team when to stage outgoing shipments and when to expect delays and other transit sensitive information. With this built in WMS, our employees enjoy more efficient task allocation, self-sufficiency within their roles, and better accuracy in their work thus creating an improved supplier and customer relationships.
We optimize transportation through our Transport Management System (TMS) to help planners make confident, profitable supply chain decisions. We support improved material handling with synchronized, seamless integration into our TMS. Its optimization algorithms are based on real-world constraints including freight/route/mode optimization, lead time analysis and carrier management for actionable planning results. TMS reduces freight spend and increases capacity utilization by creating more efficient loads.
With our additional capability of scheduling deliveries, we are delivering the product directly to customer’s home instead of using a package carrier. We have received excellent customer feedback particularly for the bulk & hard to carry items. Order visibility is less of an issue in this case, because we make deliveries within 24 hours. Returnability is the best with last mile delivery because the same trucks making deliveries can also pick-up returns from customers.
At 360-degree SCM, we manage return management efficiently, but we also identify opportunities to reduce unwanted returns. Our efficiency and adequate management of returns influences our customer relations management. Because we prioritise return management, our profitability increases, and this leads to exceeding customer satisfaction and helps waste management. The three support systems in place for effectively managing our return management are (i)Speed, (ii) Visibility & (iii) Control.
